Dr. J. Jayapriya

PROFESSOR

Welcome to a new journey of learning, growth, and discovery at the Department of Applied Science and Technology. As you embark on your journey with us, we want to highlight our motto of providing resonance between nature, the environment, sustainability and humanity. The curriculum for the UG Programme-B.Tech (Petroleum Engineering and Technology) and PG Programme M.Tech(Industrial Safety and Hazards Management) offered by our department is designed such that learners realize the importance of science and engineering in developing innovative strategies for solving existing real-world problems. Our faculty comprises distinguished professionals and industry experts who bring a wealth of experience in the upstream, midstream and downstream sectors of the oil and gas industry and industrial safety management. The faculty team is dedicated to nurturing the students in terms of skills and knowledge, thereby empowering them to excel in their chosen areas of specialization, such as Upstream Processing, Petrochemical Process Technology,Hydrocarbon Transportation and Storage, Health, Safety and Environment, Process Intensification and Energy Engineering. The department offers dedicated laboratory facilities for practical training relevant to courses associated with the UG and PG programmes, advanced simulation facilities and access to high-end analytical instruments exclusively for academic projects.
