Gait Analysis Lab
The Gait Analysis Laboratory at Centre for Medical Electronics, Anna University, is a research laboratory that aims to keep in par with the constantly evolving state-of-the-art technology in gait research. It involves kinetic and kinematic analysis of human movement. The lab offers opportunities and resources to nurture and encourage students to develop and carry forward innovative ideas in the field of gait analysis and provide sustainable solutions to our society. The lab is equipped with ● 8-channel Wireless EMG system (Bio metrics) ● 8-channel wearable Gait Analysis system consisting of flexi-force sensors, accelerometers. (Biometrics) ● Standalone IMU system (Xsense) ● Integrated IMU and EMG system(Delsys) ● Hand dynamometer (Bio metrics) ● Economic Load and Force System (Texscan) ● Anybody Modelling Software
