The Centre for Environmental Studies (CES) was established as a Division of Public Health Engineering, College of Engineering Guindy during 1955 with assistance from World Health Organization. It was later developed as an autonomous centre ‘CES’ in 1982. The centre has been making significant contributions in the field of environment with keen focus on Environmental Education, Research and Extension activities for the past 66 years
